WALK THE PATHLESS PATH TO FREEDOM

If you are fed up with suffering, there is another way.

In this work, we sit and talk-story, asking questions to cut through the mental prison bars that uphold suffering. Cutting through, you can come to know the freedom that is already so. Freedom is not something you attain nor something you can lose. It is a very real possibility. In fact, it is your birthright, the one thing that you deserve and can never be unworthy of.

We want a living and breathing freedom, a freedom that we can find not only in the flowers and smiles, but in the thunder and fire. In our talk-story circles, we not only come to the recognition of freedom in the circle, but leave with practices to extend that recognition into the whole of life, including our relationships, work, solitude, thoughts, feelings, and conduct.

Sing your redemption song and be free, child:

“Won’t you help to sing? These songs of freedom. Cause all I ever have, redemption song.” -Bob Marley

YOU CAN BE FREE FROM THE VOICE OF SUFFERING WHO SPEAKS IN MANY WAYS

Anxiety & Worry: I am worried about tomorrow. What if _____?

Regret: I am haunted by and regret the past.

Inadequacy & Worthlessness: I am not whole without _____. I am broken. I am worthless.

Doubt: Am I doing it right? Am I enough?

Lamentation, Misery, & Despair: What’s the point of it all? I cannot handle this. I’ll be forever drowned in despair.

Shame, Guilt, & Self-Punishment: I must hide this part of me. Violence against myself will make me acceptable.

Blame, Judgment, & Hatred: It’s all my fault. It’s your fault, not mine. You are not worthy.

Restlessness & Unease: Anything but this moment, here and now.

Arrogance, Pride, & Vanity: I am better than you. I deserve more than you.

Pining, Waiting, & Idealizing: I cannot wait for _____. If only I could relive that.

FREEDOM IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT

THIS WORK IS FOR THOSE FOR WHOM:

The call of freedom sounds within.

The shackles of suffering must be thrown down — loosed from the prison of the mind.

There burns a willingness to question anything and everything.

There stirs a movement to embrace the whole of life, with all of its sweetness, profundity, horror, and tragedy.
